Top 5 Wedding DJs in Milwaukee

Is this an opportunity for me to shamelessly self-promote? I mean, does a bear sh*t in the woods? Obviously I recommend taking everything you read on the internet with a grain, knowing there’s almost always some bias to it.

With that said, I’ll do my best to objectively write about the top 5 wedding DJ companies in Milwaukee I’d personally hire for my wedding . And if it makes you feel better, I won’t even put myself number 1 :)

1.) Milwaukee Airwaves $$$$

These guys are one of, if not the most expensive company in the Milwaukee market. But most couples will tell you they are worth every penny. If you’re looking for bells and whistles, you’ve come to the right place. They offer a photo booth, flatscreens, projectors and a multitude of lighting packages. If you’re ok with spending $2,000-$3,000 for your wedding DJ, I highly recommend giving Milwaukee Airwaves a look.

2.) Big Sand Productions $$

The reason I love this company is because they are easily the best value in the Milwaukee market. They don’t rely on smoke machines or flat screens to get the party started but instead, this company focuses on doing what they do best: DJing. At the end of the day, if all of your favorite people are singing, dancing and drinking together in the same room, you’re going to have an incredible wedding night. Big Sand Productions aims to achieve exactly that.

3.) Enclave Light and Sound $$$

Enclave is unique in that they offer one-stop shopping for your entire wedding. If the process of countless consultations, spreadsheets and quote forms are simply too much for you to handle, this company is definitely worth looking into. They also include 2 DJs in their packages which is a very nice bonus. Most companies will have a backup DJ option in case of emergency but it’s nice to know that 2 DJs are actually scheduled for your wedding in case one gets sick.

4.) Vital Image $$$

Like Enclave, Vital Image is a highly reputable company that offers a bundled packaging with photographers, videographers, etc. If you do bundle everything with them, their price does drop significantly. I like this company because of the various packages they include. They have something to offer at all different price points between $1,500 and $5,000. This is by far the largest company on this list which can be a turn on or a turn off depending on how you look at it.

5.) Milwaukee Underground Productions $$

The owner, Chris Troka, is a very genuine person with a very genuine company. When debating which DJ company to hire, price is often one of the biggest factors. If you decide to hire a less expensive DJ, you need to ask yourself 3 things. “Is my DJ experienced?” “Is my DJ reliable?” And “Are we all going to have a great time if we wire this DJ?” If you can answer yes to these questions, you’re going to be in great shape. Milwaukee Underground Productions checks all 3.
